indeed. ive only looked at the hog and jug manuals but theres nothing to suggest you cant fire guns and drop bombs at the same time. the jug manual suggests it was either bombs or rockets (same trigger, different circuits.)

I'm very ticklish, be careful where you're poking......  :D

Not too sure about American iron, I only have a manual for the P38, but as Japanese fighters go, the Zeros had a "dual" trigger mechanism to enable both the MG's and cannon's to fire simultaneously, but more often then not it malfunctioned causing drivers to either fire one or the other, choosen by type of dipswitch on the throttle.

The EW rides probably all should have the ability to fire all guns as well as drop bombs as bomb releases then were all manual.  By 1942 most aircraft had electric arming technology.

LOL...gonna poke you with a stick.  :neener:

In RL WWII fighters... bombs, rockets, drop tanks were all put on separate mechanisms...not on the secondary trigger of the stick.

in top gun you can see maverick firing both missiles and cannons using trigger he only changes the switch on his stick.  that's real life.  btw in another scene he uses a button to fire a missile. guess he was confused too.  either way it worked for him.
