Not too sure about American iron, I only have a manual for the P38, but as Japanese fighters go, the Zeros had a "dual" trigger mechanism to enable both the MG's and cannon's to fire simultaneously, but more often then not it malfunctioned causing drivers to either fire one or the other, choosen by type of dipswitch on the throttle.
The EW rides probably all should have the ability to fire all guns as well as drop bombs as bomb releases then were all manual. By 1942 most aircraft had electric arming technology.

In RL WWII fighters... bombs, rockets, drop tanks were all put on separate mechanisms...not on the secondary trigger of the stick.
