I'd like to apologize for stirring up this controversy.  It was such a good giggle when it happened, it seemed a worthwhile endeavor to run with it a bit.  When Sunsfan replied, he clearly understood what I was doing.  Note that I never actually named the HO'ing pilot in question.  I just wanted to tweak him a bit.  Clearly that worked :)

It's just a game, with unlimited cartoon airplanes and pilots.  I just can't take it too seriously.  I don't care that I 'died' since I immediately got a new plane and as I told Grizz last night when he and Tec were still trying to explain it, we in the I16s were just about deadstick anyway so it was a one way trip either way. :aok

Guys gotta lighten up a bit:)

The only thing I am actually serious about is the fact that you should not go nose up at an aircraft and expect him to hold guns.  I know the planes are free and all that shabang, but tbh, I enjoy when the majority of my flight time is spent in action, not flying to action.

Just trying to help you out because it seems to me you do not understand how to avoid and reverse an aircraft with advantage from what I have seen.  There's some bait of my own, lets see what kind of fish I can snag with that one.

Ok, whatever, I'll drop it but I'm not buying the "I don't care and it doesn't bother me cause I'm such a swell guy and you guys are just over-wrought and take things too seriously, and planes are free, blah, blah, blah thing....  Mainly b/c of the following statement:

What ya gonna do.  Some of these guys will only fly latewar rides and are afraid to fight in them.  They only fly with the advantage and even then can only HO! Then they make excuses for it!  :huh  :headscratch: :neener:

People who are just slidin' along taking things in stride don't take back-handed, cloaked jabs like that.  Sorry.  They don't.

Note that the statement you quoted of mine, was my reply to Sunsfan who was on that night and knows I was playing with it.   In response to his "Ho Tard" comment, I ran with it.  Again I didn't ID the pilot in question, just poked at him a bit :)

I am shocked that Grizz would HO!  SHOCKED!   :O
Grizz, think of the children!  The hopes and dreams of many young AH pilots aspiring to become great, has been drowned by the tears from this testifying news.
