The problem that I'm seeing is that you have everyone hording one enemy when there's five other enemy fighters in the fight.

During one fight I counted SEVEN friendlies on one enemy 1500yds away from me, while I'm getting ganged 3-1 in a damaged bird I'm barely keeping in the air (after collision number 10 in the first 5-10 minutes I'd been on, btw). SEVEN friendlies close enough to move to assist (I was calling for help for a good minute and a half on range before I finally went down) and not one even acknowledged my comms or considered leaving the conga line.

So far my experience is that the WWI arena is just breeding a mob mentality. At least in the DA you actually DO have guys willing to cover each other if they're in trouble. I just finished an hour of flying, and I spent much of that time clearing 6s and calling out warnings and got maybe...1 in return. I watched 5-6 guys stack up on one con all trying to cut in front of their other "friends" and disregarding the flock of 5-6 fresh enemy entering the fight all within 2000yds.

HTC may as well turn off killshooter and count kills of friendly aircraft, because that's exactly the sort of attitude I'm seeing in there.

Best way to deal with this is the same as in other arenas. Fly towards the big gob of red icons, keep flying a little more, then turn and surround them.

The WWI planes are now enabled in the DA. That's obviously better for your purposes. Go there.

This utopist idea (which seems to have a lot of "supporters") that an arena with multiple players per side could somehow consist of isolated 1vs1s through these "unwritten rules" is absurd.

Did get into a very good 3x3 in WWI 2 yesterday. But expect that to be the exception, not the norm.

Also forget whining about HO shots, they happened.
And there are no HO and go planes as WWII had.

Its a teamwork thing, clear 6 of those around you and they'll clear yours.
Steal their kills and they will steal yours.

Too many planes, too much fun to get shook up about losing a kill, a fight, etc.

Get some SA and look behind you once in a while! Either that, or you and Fugitive need to get special icons that indicate that you don't want to play like the rest of the kids at the playground. :lol Grow up and ask someone for a duel if that's what you want. There is 4.....4 WW1 arenas with a half dozen guys in it with the same interest as you. GO THERE!

But no. You want to come to the playground to fight with the other kids,.... and got violated  :mad: You gentlemen need to quit your crying and get back in there and fight!

I gave them some hell on 200 and went to a different arena.<shrug>
