It already is. Have you not noticed the revised damage screen listing? There are also new levels of damage like individual H-stabs being shot off.

That is already "pushed to the WW2 arenas" -- we've got it!

What they might do from this point and into the future is to add new things to incorporate that new damage, but it might be only on a new-development basis. Meaning, they might add more wing panels to blow off (instead of just "tip" and "wing" and "full wing"), but it wouldn't apply to the older non-updated models.  <-- doubt that's in the works, but it's a thought.

I would bet we'll see a redone WWII unit or two, brought up to the WWI damage detail level.

Crossing my fingers for the Mossie, but more realistically expecting the A6Ms or Bf110s to be the next on the modernization list due to higher usage.

We might get small hills back for the GVers too.

No, that's unique to the WWI planes. They are unique in their construction and that will not spread over to WW2 planes. When discussing needing to skin secondary "damage" parts on WW2 skins in the future, this was the reply.

You misunderstand me.  I mean the tracking of more damage points and damage states, not graphics.

Is it maybe because the damage states are pretty much there graphically?  Surface damage is already reflected graphically isn't it?  It just doesn't affect flight characteristics.
