And I always thought AW was gone years ago... ;)

No, it's HTC's special offer for FA pilots.

Nice to see Thor expounding his opinions on that thread too.

I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

Because the market for a game like this is tiny on scale of things compared to the more mainstream PC and Console games. Most game publishers now aren't interested in publishing PC only titles it has to be multi platform as that's where the bucks are.

Even MS have pulled the longest running of them all "Flight Simulator". Market too small to justify cost for return etc compared to just pumping out some new XBox titles.

Plus another aspect for AH even though it's muti player and there have been some improvments over the years, the graphics look very dated. Even though the gameplay itself might be as good as it is, the eye candy for anyone new is first impression and compared to what any previous flight sim someone might be use to, trying this out it's like staring back into the 90s in some regards.

A Lot more games have bigger and better multi player support then they use to, the likes of ARMA2 and BF series adds more competition for anyones spare time and combat fix..

Basically for PC's market and sales there is WoW and Sims. Everything else is muti platform.

I commend HT team for all the work they have done, it's certainly been able to hold my interest off and on for the last 10 years.. But at moment that's leaning more towards off just due to my own commitments and free time nothing due to this or latest changes etc.. Though drop in numbers for MA during Aussie evenings is more noticeable lately than previous years or maybe it's just been a quiet few months, dunno.

Unfortunatly the market for this in it's current format is very small and always has been. Other then for when AW crowd joined I don't think the growth has ever really been there going by numbers in the MA's over the years. Always around the same.

I agree fully, but what do you call a company, which beats the 2 months by another 1 1/2 months for a total of 14 weeks?
Just came to think of it, that the statement of yours, Delirium, was a bit superficial, or was it even meant aggressive?
But against whom?   ;)

When is the last time you played AH?   Especially since you made this outrageous claim:

Many people over there are articulating themselves in their Bulletin Bords arrogantly and agressively even before a reasonable argument tries to find majorities.
I donīt know why this occurs. In other circumstances of life I would rate such behaviour as precarious, born from inferiority complex or even childish.

Keep up your intelligence gathering and play "whack-a-mole" elsewhere please.   Place Thorsim on a pedestal for mastering "non-sequitur posting".   He tried like the dickens to "stymie HiTech and others", but never made a single substantiated claim.

@ Masherbrum and Bronk
By beeing so aggressive, are you trying to prove, that my point you quoted (as above) is correct?
Masherbrum, how come you are able to quote from the WB Forum? Are you holding an account over there?
tz, tz, tz
In that case you most certainly are not agreeing with Delirium?  :rock

... I'd be suspect of any game that offered 2 free months, it is indicative of an company's end stage marketing ploy....

"Aggressive"?   I merely state FACTS.   Feel free to forward  "duly noted responses" to your authority figure.   You paint a completely different picture than is presented.

Coming over from FA, that has to be the most ridiculous assertion I have yet read.

Welcome aboard and understand most of us wish to assist you.   Some like the ones you quoted, enjoy making assumptions.

Again Fuzz, welcome!  :salute
