Why would they be perked?

Their guns are only about as good as the two T-34's guns and they are slow like the Firefly.

They'd better not perk them half of the tanks we already have are perked we need more small un-perked tanks.

If they perk the rocket pack for the M4 then that would open a whole new aspect to the game, and if the do then I want the 12K Lbs bomb for the Lancaster I mean whats the point of perking ords? Perk the tank with the option but isn't the M4 already perked? Where is the TigerII or TigerIII would rather have those and the King Tiger too. Just a thought.
I would rather try and fail, than not try at all. (paraphrased)

Sherman was a deathtrap against even the run-of-the-mill German tanks, can't imagine why a slow tank with a gun similar to the pop-gun T34-76 would need to be perked. 2 days after it's out, there will be zillions of posts about how poorly it's modeled

I'm not getting this "slow" Sherman stuff, it did 25-30 mph.  The PzKw IV did 26 mph.  The Tiger I did
24 mph.  Sounds like the Sherman right in range with the other panzers.  The T-34 was the hot rod at 33 mph.

isn't the M4 already perked?
There are dozens of versions of the M4.  The M4 version that is perked (rightly so) in the game is the Firefly, due to its overwhelming tank-killing capability.  Neither version of the M4A3 have nearly the same punch with the main gun.

Whether the "Calliope" will be perked is speculation at this point.
