ive seen adults talk like children(like texting on phones) but their adults i dont get it and how grammar should i use that wouldnt give away my age?
Like Motherland said, the best kind if the correct kind. Use punctuation, capitalization, proper spelling, and grammar by making your sentences complete. Of course your not typing a paper, your not proof-reading every post you make, and your likely to abbreviate certain things or just slim them down and that's fine in moderation. Just for example I'll re-write your quote to a more considerable standard if you will, though I'm not English major by any extent.
"I've seen adults talk like children(like texting on phones) but they're adults. I don't get what type of grammar I should use that wouldn't give away my age?"
Really if you can type things out that well then you shouldn't hear much except from our back-seat English teachers. Don't mind them, I believe they want to do more good then harm by helping but the way it's brought about isn't always appealing to the one being criticized.
Best of luck to you Derk.
