  you speak of   " highly unrepresentative"  lets take the ta-152 for instance,only 42 built. this compared to 250 quad 20mm nose mount Havocs.
     allso only 200 C hogs built.  so maybe these aircraft are also not worthy in the game.
Yet the Ta152 we have is not unrepresentative of the Ta152s that were built, thus mooting your point.

The P-70, which was the nightfighter version of the A-20, had the 4 x 20mm. to my knowledge and even those saw very limited service.
