To answer yours I've been in there enough to know who you're referencing and being with squadmates doesn't solve the issue.

ok very simple ahhhh new friends in game different things to do. i seen he was asking about the FSO. so it's to me that he's ready to move on.i knew i should've stayed out of here. should a PMed him.

grumpy the best thing to do is leave that silly arena and join up with a squad that you would like being a part of.

Silly question I know but...how is joining a squad going to eliminate or otherwise prevent the behavior that is obviously the point of frustration?

You know just as well as I do that turns into something other than a 1v1. As Lazydog eluded to, sometimes it's a squad or butty group who spoil "the fun". Then it becomes a furball, then someone kills the fh or sinks the ship and "the fun" is over once again. It happens a lot in the LW arenas, not so often in the MW, but it happens. The thing is if that is the only thing that trips your trigger in AH, you are always going to be disappointed at some point or another. It is a self imposed limitation that when coupled with large numbers of people from various nations and cultures leads to all of the gripes, moans, whines, disagreements, etc... for exactly the reasons people have posted in this discussion and others like it. The only solution is not economically feasible for the company that created, hosts and maintains this game.

whelp....here's the deal. i vanished from the arenas for about 6 months. didn't do any forum posts, 'cause i'm not an attention potato.......just felt i needed a break, because virtually everything was pissing me off.
 now that i've come back, it's much easier to deal with the schmucks, and make my own fun.

 i do understand about some squads doing that though. in the 80th though, if i ask one of them to stay out, they stay out. if i ask em for help, they help. they're great guys, and really good to fly with. some have flown cover for me, some have simply flown as wingman, and given me tips as i fought, and sometimes when i ask for help, they wait till the red guy has me in my cartoon death throws, and then they swoop in for the kill.

i just realized that the thingie built into this system doesn't like potato? i typed potato, and potato came out. i didn't think potato was really that bad......but i guess it is.

i was just in there........head into a sector with enemy dar bar.........i'm high.....about 15,000 or so. here comes a 109 barreling in from about 17,000 to 18,000, doing over 400mph, guns blazing. one thing i've learned with the 38, is to use vertical, so i made my evasive in a climb. 2nd pass like that, and now we're co-alt when he comes back up. he tries to suck me into following him down, which i don't do, especially since he's trying to work the fight back towards a climbing 190. i turned south, gave him my 6, and time to climb back up, as i dragged away from the 190(towards friends, since there was now a ki61 climbing to us too). rolled 120, merged with him again, and established high ground again, and after the next re-merge, he headed out.
 
 now i'm climbing away, checking fuel, blablabla.......here comes that 190 in....from a couple thousand aboe me again, but not as fast as the 109. same thing.......after a couple merges, he leaves the fight.

 you know, and used to fly with the 109 driver....the 190 driver, i was VERY surprised to see who it was, as he's always been good fights.......guess they were in mw trying to harvest some perkies or something.
