avoiding combat you said it yourself.  With a little more practice and skill you guys (I refer to any overwhelming force NOE or not)  may be able to fly to an enemy field and CAP it above radar.

Of course you can kill the radar and have exactly what you did before the changes.  The reason you have your panties in a bunch is because the defenders now have half a chance of GIVING you combat!

Personally It doesn't bother me either way i'll adapt and get on with it instead of crying on the bbs.  I find the slow dar updates extremely annoying but they give a more "realistic" aspect to long range radar so defenders can be lurking and not have it give their presence away if they stay out of the enemy circle.

I saw many Bish horde missions to "win the war" yesterday and had to swap to give them some action.  They still reset the map regardless.  You can't stop a steamroller and if they had fun doing it then that is fine also.

well you just need to know when it's time to take a break.it's the same as needing to take a vacation from your job.i took 8 months off came back joined a squad that flys the plane i like .this crap doesn't piss me off any more i fly with great guys and it's fun again.oh and what chance's who cares

Sounds like the game outgrew you. It's the same game just more folks.

Sounds like your squad may be imploding too. Check around for one that fits your idea of what you want in the game.

I'll switch sides to defend 'em...until they start attacking the third side and I'm stuck for another hour.  Perhaps I'll try to talk HT into letting me (and only me  ) be able to switch sides as quickly and often as I need to so I can find fights.

I care what the enemy is doing because it influences every decision I make.  What base to take off from?  which country to fly for.   Etc etc.

I believe HT made the dar changes to increase chances of combat.  The people coming here and posting negatively are the ones that believe it is the end of AH for one or many different reasons.  Either we are completely misunderstanding one another or i'm lost.

Dar changes = good, but could use a little tweaking
posting drama threads on BBS =  normal i guess  
gameplay =  whatever you enjoy doing but don't horde in a manner that is unacceptable for a GAME!
