once we get a rough list we need to see where the majority of the players are coming from, i know theres alot from Northern Cali Area and all thru Oregon so we can try to find somethings of interest in between Portland is like a good center point to start, Seattle is only 2- 2-1/2 hrs to portland, my home in central Oregon is like 7 hours to Seattle  2 1/2 - 3 to Portland,  i know scotch lives on the Oregon coast i think, thunderegg lives around my neck of the woods,  maybe we need people to post there name with there town and we can figure something out

Zoom, that is a great idea and see where majority of people reside and go from there..

I live on the central Oregon coast. And If I wasn't ill, I'd love to goto a gathering. Perhaps at the Tillimook Air Museum or some place similar.

I'm a two hour drive from Seattle. I don't drive, however. So unless someone wants to meander up here and pick me up or I can con my father into it... :D

That's why people don't tend to do it; only someone coming down from Vancouver would be "on the way."

I might be able to make it. I'm near Portland.
There are two air museum's in the "area", one in McMinnville and a smaller, but cool one in Tillamook.

<S>

I started the midwest gathering at my house in 2006 with about 10 of us and we just had our 5th. year in July and had an increase of players each year. This last year had about 50 players. Since the last gathering I have moved to Washington near Seattle. I plan to attend and help out with the midwest gathering each year and have passed the bulk of the responsibility to Betty since I am NW now.

If you guys need any help or are looking for a certain date/time to put things together let me know. I am unpacked and pretty much settled in other then learning the roads and shortcuts to places around here.

PM me if you want to work out some 'local" details.
Michelle

With SheGotYa in Seattle, really, we need to have it in Seattle. :)

Also, the Museum of Flight and Heritage Flight Museum are worth it.  :aok

And, strangely enough, I've never been. :confused:
