i don't live out there, and somebody may have suggested this already, but there is a decent airplane museum in McMinnville OR.    it houses the Spruce Goose and they have assorted warbirds on hand.   visited last summer, had a good time  :aok

North central WA the dry side.both museums are worth it so is the one in OR.we could do it here 10acers no planes except for the prowlers from NAS whibey  or the occasional black hawk night ops the marines ran about a week ago.Scary hearing a chopper overhead but no running lights. We do have great fishing 4ironheads per day, life is good flying, fishing and work.

The Evergreen Museum is awesome. And just near there is the Tillamook Air Museum, which is even better.

i was in Tillamook the day after i was at Evergreen and all i kept hearing about was the yogurt and ice cream!!  i feel slighted  :furious

maybe my sister and brother-in-law were sick of airplanes by that point  :noid

I think after the holidays and a break in weather would be a great time. How do you guys feel about March? I may be out of my league with some of you Washington guys being here longer then the 60 days I have been but, I can start looking/calling places for tours/discounted block of rooms (depending on where we decide to "meet up" for the day/weekend). Any suggestions on a hotel that has a place to eat/drink that can accommodate us without worrying about how long we are there?

First need the place everyone who knows the area agrees on

Second need a time March, April or later. I think after the holidays is better since they are right around the corner and it will give us time to plan.

Suggestions/Ideas/Answers?
