Sure, I understand exactly what everyone is saying.

Corky has a very valid point and one that would improve the gameplay and community attitude, there is no doubt.

But it's happened already, if we can all have a laugh about it and take Corky's message on board.
The funny part is that Grizz made us think it would be some mad hatter's tea party in jeeps on a mountain which we've seen many times, when really it was an evil muppet death cruiser advertisment. Being tricked harmlessly is funny.

"Grizz is a bully".....lol (that made me laugh out loud)
"shouldn't have killed the jeep"  oh man the responses in this thread are funnier then the pics :rofl :rofl :rofl

the jeep is far game, in a game about killing the red guy,

I would have done the same, except the results would have been different.....my  30mm would have missed by 100 feet(or more), my 262 would have made a pretty explosion, and the jeep driver would have been the one laughing his arse off, and posting a film of me angering trying to kill his jeep :furious

:rofl now maybe if Grizz killed him with a jeep it would have been funny but a 262 is just overkill

Wellll, I didn't have a jeep I had a 262.

My only regret is not letting Kappa kill him, since he spotted him.   :cry

Sorry Kappa!  :lol

I regret killing the wrong muppet in his 262 last week.  Had I killed the right one, I would've had posted it all over the forums.

Yeah, I guess you guys operate on a higher plane where the true meaning of killing a pretend jeep in a video game leads to the path of the darkside. I'm glad I don't get it.

Not some higher plane Slash.  You get it despite trying to speak to the contrary.  That DFC badge in your avatar should confirm that.

Grizz gets it too.  He wanted a reaction and he got one.  I'm still not impressed. Who cares if he shot down 40 birds in a 262.  He's a better stick than the majority of the players in the game.  Shoot down 40 from below them in a lesser bird and I'll be impressed.  Take that ability and put it into making it a better game for everyone.

For all the time spent complaining about the decline of game play, it still falls on the players to change it.  When the 'name' guys in the 'name' squads don't help the cause, there is little chance the new guys are going to do it any different.

Ah man, I didn't want a reaction...
Or did I?  :D
My actual intention was to draw some laughs...

Of all the things
We have heard you say about free planes and
Now this?
So very surprising.

You know we love you Corky, but you are wrong
On this one.
Until our next encounter.   :D

Now, now, now,
Of all the strange things I've heard this,
Must be the strangest.

Now when a person or squad becomes,
Of the caliber to be considered named they,
Must act a certain way?

Now the weight of the world must be on your shoulders Corky,
O, and for this we all really do admire you, but please don't put it on ours,
Mmmkay?

The message Corky is saying is true, he is right about the gameplay aspects. There was a time when the jet pilot might have typed on channel 'hello' as he zooomed past the jeep. He's not saying Grizz is soley to blame, he's just using an example here to clarify his point.

It's all good guys, we can laugh and discuss the game ethics at the same time, surely, without anyone needed to get defencive.

No weight at all Sunbat.  Just kinda figure it's common courtesy in dealing with people.   We'll apparently have to agree to disagree on player's responsibility to each other.  It won't change how I feel about the vets in the game and the tone they set.

So even though, as Kappa stated, the jeep had been firing at him, and was likely the only way anyone would have even known it was there, it's unethical to kill it? Playing the "DFC" card over this?  :huh

Nah, I'm done Bear.  Clearly the 2 veteran 262 drivers were in imminent danger from some guy in a jeep in the middle of nowhere.  What was I thinking! :)
