Its a serious question. I see the hype everywhere on TV but yet is it really worth it. I have a HTC Tilt that I changed from that to just a normal phone due to the Tilt is too expensive a phone to take with me to work and the environment I work in. I havent used my Tilt for over a year now
That is what I currently have now and am waiting for AT&T to release a decent android phone before I ditch the tilt. I loved the tilt up until past couple weeks when the touch function on the screen decided to stop working, have to push the slider to the right hard for the screen to light in portrait view, and the f button freezes the phone.
Ive seen rumors of the Dell Thunder being released sometime during Q4 and that is probably the phone I am going to get. Im not sold on getting another Windows phone even though the windows 7 phones seem interesting, the marketplace isnt as large as iphone and android and most of the windows apps will have to be bought by the looks of it.
I am hoping for a HTC android that is actually comparable to the G2 that T-Mobile is getting but I will probably settle for the Dell Thunder because there really hasnt been any rumors of a HTC android as high of quality as the HTC phones going to HTC and Verizon.
I personally do a lot with my phone so Im keeping in the smartphone market. I use the GPS extensively especially since my college is in Springfield and I have no idea where Im going unless Ive gone to the same place more than 5 times. I schedule my thousands of meetings all the time, make notes to myself, done homework on my phone, and constantly check the internet for updates from professors.
