What War Movie Do You Want to See Made?
« on: September 13, 2010, 09:19:31 AM »
Two movies in development that I'm waiting to see are the Tuskegee Airmen film that George Lucas is working on, and the rumored remake of Midway.

I'd like to see a Black Sheep film (more historically accurate and without real gun camera footage) and a film about the Battle off Samar (Taffy 3 vs Yamato and Company).

What films would you like to see made?

A good Revolutionary War movie.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I think the March 6, 1944 raid on Berlin would be great fodder for the 'epic CGI smorgasboard of awesome' pic. I'd watch it.

New version of Battle of Britain

More WWII flying movies in general.

The story of the Bismarck would be just about perfect for a two-hour movie. Some of the other suggestions, BoB and Blacksheep in particular, would be better suited for my taste in a 10 part mini-series kinda thing.

Don't remake any old movies, they are fine the way they are.
