Evil Con Mission Saturday?

Last year HiTech used Super Fokkers. It was a 2 sector flight to get where they were, til they opened 1 base for each country right near the action. I got like 33 perkies for killin 1 of those sweet lookin triplanes

Usually for a sortie or two before the word slips out on how to make it display in the hangar for everyone.

it may display, but still cant fly it.

I was able to get the sharks from 2008 to display in hangar, but never did see the superfokker in hangar.. had to look at it up close in film viewer..

I don't know where all of these "usually you get to fly it later" things come from. The only Evil Con Plane I've heard of getting released to the public at any point was the neutered RV-8.

At the WarBirds cons, you needed a thumb drive with a specific file on it to unlock it. Even if it was a token file, distributing it quickly would be a pain before it would get disabled. I would suppose the same goes for AH cons, if not done by checking if the client is behind whatever router the con is using.

I got to fly the superfokker last year. I do think it wasn't intended as it was shut down after about 30 minutes.

You guys are silly! It's going to be the B29 with nukes and 50mm cannons with ballistics equivalent to laser beams!!!!!! Not to mention that it'll outclimb a 163, outturn an A6M, and outroll a 190.

What usually happens is the "Evil Con Mission" will start around 9-10 eastern, its right after one of the con events finishes up. Once it starts only those AT the con get the new toy. In years past it been flying PT boats, the 163 before it came out, sharks with "frikin" lazer beams, the RV8 with a gattlen gun, the super folker with rockets. After about an hour or so HTC lets the word out on what to type to get it and allows everyone a chance to play with it for a bit. Again, after an hour or so it gets turned back off.

as far as I've seen the last 2 years, the con plane is never opened up to non-con-goers. maybe they did that in previous years?

I flew the shark two years ago and didn't attend the con. Maybe I shouldn't have admitted to that.  

IIRC, that dot command was easy to guess. I wouldn't try again though, the con planes are for people who made the trip to enjoy.

Probably from personal experience. I flew the Fokker last year and was not at the con.
