True but the prevailing attitude seems to be try over and over to get into the full arena or just log off.
Which is in some way absolutely understandable. When it was down to 40 or less players for almost 4 hours (and I went in... it sucked), you can't plame people if they chose not to sit there in hope someone else will finally follow. Woth only 140 players only, what do you expect when splitting them 100-40 on two arenas? That's far from being the "massive mulitplayer" many of us joined Ah for.
Oh and for the record... the action in LWO was as bad, with caps kicking in most battles simply dried out. That's what happens every evening at 7pm CET.
I would speculate that if getting rid of the caps because of dropping numbers happens then things are pretty bad off for the game overall.
IMHO, for us flying at euro times (yes, I'm selfish), it's worse keeping the same caps mechanism at only 50-66% population we had years ago, instead of saying "currently the numbers are much lower, let's dispense caps on workdays until we get more players again."
I can live with caps it it means about one hour "downtime" each evening - that's how it's been for years, and that's how it still worked on weekend. But not if it strangles gameplay the whole evening.
