the vastly superior P-38 and there isn't one P-47 pilot in Aces High that can be considered any competition for even the most inexperienced P-38 pilot.
In fact, the P-47 drivers only have two maneuvers...Dive and run.

A) "It is essentially a high altitude fighter, ideally suited for dive and zoom tactics."
B) "The aircraft is virtually a flying destroyer, having 4 - .5 machine guns in each wing."
C) "The P-47 is far superior to the Kittyhawk for interception of enemy bombers over 22,000ft."
D) "This aircraft is comparable with the P-38 (Lockheed Lightning) and is much easier to manoevre. However, I would prefer the P-38 to the P-47"[/quote]
Well once again you find evidence to discredit your ridiculous "vastly superior" claim. A)B)C) and D) all sound like high praise to me. One RAF pilot comparing a C or very early D jug, would prefer a comparable aircraft that was much more difficult to manuver...hmmmm Why?

Regardless of this bloke's strange preferences, Jugs destroyed more German aircraft than any other US type, even though 38s were in use before them in the war.
Heinz Bar, a German ace with 221 victories said "we have NO FEAR of them... (P-38s)" No fear of Ack-Ack's vastly superior plane...221 actual victories pffft. What could his opinion mean.
