I did not say a word about beating anyone down or getting hostile with each other.  I said, use the .report mechanism as it is a valid use for those discussions.

How does a CM text ban anyone using poor language or anger after 1 warning, but allow the political apparchuks to continue on for hours?  Just curious...because I tested it last night and I got muted but the politichuks kept it going.  Are there levels of wrongness? lol

Same thing happend to me a few weeks ago. Mod told me to watch my language after i said something like "Who the F cares?" It was a live mod because I know they dont filter the letter F. So there was a mod in there watching this conversation go on, and they didn't do a thing because it went on for well over an hour.  The only 2 possibilities are that the mods are poorly trained, or they are part of the conversation and are above the law.

Bzzzzt!  Wrong answer!  We do not want political nor religious discussions to take place in the game.  I am pretty sure I cannot be any clearer than that.
Thank you Skuzzy.  Spot on.

Well my comment was about players telling other players to shut up. This in my opinion is just as bad as yapping about religion and politics. I never mentioned .report, or not to use it. I said use .squelch instead of "Shut the F up" over and over.  You replied to my comment with....

"Bzzzt! Wrong answer"

Perhaps you mis-read my original post, but I'm fair and now accepting appologies. Hot line is open.

that would be because squelching those talking about politics does not fix the problem....you don't see it anymore, but others still have to see that crap.....report em, they get text banned, and they learn not to.......

I think that was the night that politics got banned. I should have a T-shirt that says "I survived 11-3-08 on Aces High"

It was rough.

I personally like political and religious discussing on 200 in particular.  These guys are my peer group and it is great to see how everyone feels.

Perfect example why permasquelch is needed.
