AW Korea and AW3 Korea both rocked.  There was plenty of action.

As my faulty memory recalls Grizz, we spent way too much time in Korea hating on each other, I was better of course, but there is that faulty memory thingy.

I remember someone telling me they never played AW!   :headscratch:

Yup, we had a ball, and we had alot of late night just us knock down drag out battles, no one else around, and yeah I do remember Aw007 and Predr, and  his buddy whose name I forget.

Bring on Korea!  Would love to engage a flight of B29's in a MiG15 (salivating).

I also seem to remember that very good sticks in prop planes were very tough to fight.  It wont be just jets in there playing is my guess .

Of course to clarify, Predr and Cujo played AW1 Korea and were in the dragons and flew Mig15's.  You and Deth7 were the F86 guys in the PigStompers.  In aw3, I don't recall seeing Predr or Cujo, but rather guys like Aw007, KIKBT, meat!, and others I can't seem to remember.  Maybe Muzik played, I can't recall..

LOL PigStompers.

"We shall kill no swine before its time"

and Squeeeeeeeeeeee!! (had a macro for that)

and my favorite macro after I got a kill "Kill of ***** by Zoney.  Your son will not be returning home because you passed on defective genes"

and Deth7.  You know he looked like the biker guy in Village People right?

But this needs to stop.  I am feeling very old suddenly and really want a Korean Arena in AH now.  Man I loved that F86.

cujo?  that was you?  Yea I popped into korea on occasion. I remember cujo, Deth7, KIKBT and meat! Aw007 and Predr vaguely.

I might as well be on topic at least once. The only way the korean arena in AW could be compared to AH WW1 arena is (Late night AW korea = prime time AH WW1)

As for the "business strategy" argument, a korean arena would be good for business. Not great because, if done like the ww1 arena, it's unlikely to ever have a large following or a big impact on subscriptions. But it will certainly be more popular than WW1.

As for the other side of that argument, business in AH will not grow anymore than normal by "finishing the ww2 set before doing something new." Even if we got every plane in ww2, AH isnt going to see any real growth. At least with Korea, the internet publicity would surely grab a few more customers.

This is basically the same game we had 15 years ago and the only way it will see significant growth is if it expands beyond Hitechs current ideal. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

+1 Korea

Cujo was not myself or Grizz.  Grizz was Grizz and I was Zoney.  Alot of the guys playing here now with 5 digit handles have kept them from AW days.  Predr is an IT guy now, he briefly played AH about a year ago and Predr is still friends with Cujo.  As I recall Cujo is a technician with one of the IndyCar race teams now.  My favorite handle from AW is a guy who only used symbols, no letters, as that was allowed then.  His name was    <'^><    we called him shark I believe.  I was always jealous of his creativity.

I voted "Not interested" for the WWI poll. If there were a similar poll for a Korean War Arena, I would vote "Yes please".

My sentiments as well, though I'd much rather see work finished on WWII first (update remaining planes cockpits, fill in planeset gaps, add more game strategy options).

I'd be interested in flying an F9F Panther off a carrier, or trying out an F-82 Twin Mustang.   I believe the Gloster Meteor saw some service against MiGs, too?

Cujo I think came over as well during the Exodus but faded away after a time.
