Hard to model but troops would push through hedges and houses generally have doors n windows so passing through again not a problem.

Ack isnt terribly realistic taking out ground troops but hard to code otherwise, think of it as local resistance fire if you like as we lack the ability to deploy defensive infantry.
Pushing through hedges and doing some fancy parkour/freerunning through the buildings isn't really the problem I guesss.
It's just that they do it soooo fast! Perhaps a solution would be to simply slow them down or even halt them for a set time when they reach an obstacle. This would promote better C-47 piloting and maybe some more realistic DZ planning.
As far as the ack goes, in the world of 0's and 1's, perhaps the ack could be coded to not fire when pointed at a building or hedgerow. Of course there would have to be range limitations placed on this, otherwise someone could simply drive a vehicle and hug the hedgerows thereby negating any enemy fire.
Much to think about really.
