flying in the MA he should have a fighting chance, the guns in the 202 do not allow that, hurri2D is a better choice, he must fight, with that plane he has a quick kill potential, not with the 202......my 02$

i had a very fun(and frantic) fight today against a c.202 in a ju88.got some shots on him but didnt seem to be doing anything to him. i ended up having to use my rudder to last-second swirv out of his line of fire. he must of ran out of ammo because he thankfully flew away.

landed 2 kills  :D

The time I did my "Get a kill in every unit in the game" tour, my C.202 kill was a B-17.  That took a lot of time to bring down.

The hardest kill was with the Ar234.  It didn't have a tail gun back then, so I had to find something to bomb.  Eventually I found a tracked vehicle of some kind and hit it.

Took its right wing off.  As I said, it took quite a while to kill it.  :p

Heh.  Shot down a Lanc once with a 202, killed all the gunners and put holes in the fuel tanks, the poor guy ran out of gas while I buzzed around him.  Good times.

I say TA152. Go buff hunting and heck nail some jets. Also, you have to rearm at least once.

I only picked the C202 for him because that is the only plane with guns on it that I have never been shot down by that I recall.

Last day till the tally.
Voting ends midnight. Decided to do the first week of the tour. Whenever that starts

OK. Anyone care to do the tally?
Or are we pretty much in agreement that its the 202?

I'd fly the C205 or Ki61.  At least give yourself a chance to be successful in a less popular ride.

No one mentioned the wildcat?

<edit, ahh someone did>

the c205 is no slouch in itself - while under-utilized, its definately competitive. The 202... eh... f4f gives more options in finding a fight on some maps.

can it, or the 202, carry ord? lol i forgot.
