.report doesn't seem to do anything to stop the nonstop political banter going on.

I do not want to hear about Iraq or Oil or Obama or Democrats or Republicans or anything, and these guys won't stop.

Norm, I don't want to tune off of 200.  I want them to stop talking about politics, which has been clearly stated as not being allowed in this game.

How about they join the same country, tune to the same channel, and talk like it's an AOL chat room from 1995?

You should just dot report them, I know what you mean annoys the hell outta me as well though why people like to talk about something as boring as politics in a game is beyond me.

I did .report them.  After 10-15 minutes, I posted here.  HiTech logged in and promptly stopped it, even giving an explanation to people who asked why.

You could try this also.... Run as fast as you can and then swan dive on a gravel road. After about a week or so your skin will be much tougher and these little 200 rants wont be such a big issue.

How about the fact that I work in local government, so I'm surrounded by political discsussion during some part of my 9 hours a day while at work, so when I play this game, I don't want to hear it?

It's not a poltical discussion chat channel. Period.

When I can't take care of it myself, I go to the authorities, in this case, the Mods.  When you mature, you'll see that things aren't like "snitching" in High School.

YOU want to talk politics, religion or any other "topic" not allowed just tune to a private channel and have at it. The rest of us are here to play and have fun. no need for us to have to detune a channel just to NOT have to see/hear it.

I'm a snitch as well, and have used the .report command myself many a time.
