6 months? Some skins are over the 2 year mark in the waiting list.
He did ask for an average.

Load time grasshopper. Your computer has to load every skin, when you run across a plane with it.

from the OP post, looks like proper grammar is perked and he's all out of perks.

Sorry, I'm not allowed to tease you with what I'm currently working on.

However once that's done I'll skin the B-29 "Sky Chief" for Von Kost and an olive drab B-29, haven't decided which one yet.

Hey Lyric1, I think the top picture is not correct. Ding How was in the 676th Squadron of the 444th. It had the tail number of 16 and 71 in a diamond like the other 444th group planes. This one is showing it in 794thBS/468thBG tail markings.

Another cool OD one to do would be Old Battler. She was Diamond 72.

Old Battler (42-6251)

Nice catch :aok Profile looks to be right but the book is wrong with the 444TH statement.

No wonder people get things wrong when books can't get it right.

I think there are two different aircraft here. Ding How/Hao planes.

The one in the 468th is listed as serial number 42-6358, with the name of Ding Hao. This was one of the three that the Russians stole.

42-6358     794     468     Ding Hao     Hennin, Mickish           11/21/1944                 (original 795th a/c) Landed Vladivotok Soviet Union and Interred.  Thought Lost     p55 campbell

The 444th one is listed as 42-6225 with the name Ding How.

See here: http://www.444thbg.org/676thsquadron.htm

I've checked my books on the serials and I think this is right. Not sure what the 468th one looks like, but it seems that the artist got them mixed up.
