What kids say online in games most of the time pales in comparison to what the adults say.

ack-ack
Of course, but the both smacktalk like that just to a very wide and different degree.

I was recently playing Combat Arms and i was very rudely informed by a (14) fourteen year old that i was a noob and i should go kill myself due to being to noobish. I replied telling him that he should learn some manners and try getting a job instead of sitting around all day. He informed me that i should be the one getting a job. I replied stating i have a job with the Georgia, Department of Public Safety, State Patrol Division. He informed me that he hopes that i get shot in the line of duty. Whats wrong with kids these days? Im not that old. Im still very young, but old enough to carry a badge and a gun.

What are your thought on todays kids and the upcoming generation?

I really found with any game, just ignore everyone else and you won't have any kind of problem. And whats your in-game ID for CA? I play as well and it would be nice to see some fellow Ah'ers in-game whenever I play.

Haven't seen the difference, stories I've heard from people 2 - 3x older then me don't sound all that different from the stupidity I get myself into. The only real difference is the Internet and how it makes you "anonymous", but I wouldn't take it for more then a grain of salt simply because the interaction is so dissimilar to that of real life.

I have a very explicit COD video of an angry player. I'll PM anyone who wants to see, but i'm all the way agreeing with parents not teaching their kids right. I a few Call of duty servers and i see those kinda kids often, immediate boot and a reason of why, tho i don't think they have the patients to read. I play with honest good players, not people who try to kill themselves or tell people to die so people will feel bad. Its annoying

As a somewhat unhappy member of the generation you are referring to I agree 100% with others, it's the parents. I can assure you I hear that all the time with my peers but I think the (kids these days) is to stereotypical because there are plenty of well mannered, well rounded kids trust me! I have a job, play sports, volunteer etc, i'm 15 and already have my career planned out, and I can say the same for at least 20% of the peers I go to school with!

I've raised a respectful, honest, and upstanding son.  I'm extremely proud of the obstacles he has overcome.  He knows for a FACT that if I caught him acting any different on the internet than he did in real life I'd cheerfully knock him out with a cluebyfour.  Then I'd laugh at him for griping about his headache.

I'd like to point out, as a sixteen year old, that the problem does not only
lie with the parents. The lack of mature adults/peers is also a reason.
Face it, how many 20 year olds do you guys know that don't drink, don't
smoke or do drugs, don't swear, and have respect for absolutely
everyone? Who also try to teach kids good things in the world, about
fishing and the long-forgotten 'being kind' thing?

Not many in my world, that's for sure. Granted there will always be a few
guys/gals like that, but it's just so very rare...

Then there comes the friends that kids have. A HUGE influence, but it
again comes down to the parents being ignorant and not noting the type
of people their kids hang out with or what their kids are doing.

Sometimes with parents, they're far too strict with their kids, they
think they're keeping their kids in line but.. They just don't know how much
pain their kids are in because of it, the internal turmoil. I've seen kids who've
resorted to drugs and alcohol, simply because their parents didn't give them
a bit of freedom everyone else has.

But in regards to the topic, it's the parents and the peers who don't guide their
kids. I'll admit, I swear and cuss on Xbox Live all the time, but at the very least
I don't direct it at anybody in particular, or I do it in a form where I know I can't
harm anyone's feelings (IE, microphone out and off). It's just a form of stress relief
for me, really.

I've been hearing a lot of that 'you suck, go hang yourself' stuff lately. It's rather
sickening when I think about it. Especially the age of some of the kids.

Sorry if this post wasn't much on topic, but if there's anything I can rant somewhat
well about it is today's youth.

Or play along. Nothing is more satisfying then being called slang
for homosexual and telling the guy where you like it and where he can
stick it because you know he likes it too ;)
