It could always inadvertently help business as well. If such a game draws a crowd into the WW2 combat genre, they may be more likely to discover this superior game and jump ship. That is assuming it is superior which I'm sure it is.

Yes. Back when I was with Mechanical Dynamics, Inc (long since bought out by MSC), we used to say that of our competition. We dominated in market share but there they were, helping us grow the Dynamics CAE market.
I was talking about this very thing in another thread - MMOGs very much rely on bandwagon effect. More buzz means more baby seals and more club-club-clubbin with blood-and-gore-soaked nail-impaled beatin' sticks. If the arscheklownen help create more afcionados, they can (and will) find their way here.
My fondest hope: all-phase total WWII with every type of weapon and combatant - someday.
