The arena logs should show that it changed 6 times in 18 hours.

do you know how rare it is for it to change that often? usually there isnt a map change everyday, other than the arena swapping.

That gives you a 1 hour window 4 times a day to launch a 2.5 or 3 hour mission with any time outside this guaranteeing you will stranded.

Wow. That's stunning.

Icepac, what do you do that enables you to do 3 hour missions in the middle of a Monday? I want that career. Otherwise, long term missions..?

I think he is complaining that maps change to often and 18 hours missions (he said realistic) are impossible.  :headscratch:

HiTech, please leave it the way it is, I don't want to have the same map for two weeks as we did before.

Any change that results in a person on a long mission over enemy territory being stranded because the arena closes before you can fly back to a friendly field or having said friendly field you flew back to suddenly change to enemy.

The arena changes from Off-Peak to On-Peak at the same specific time each day.  Plan your missions accordingly.

Players through "winning teh warz" can force a map change at any time and cannot be controlled or planned for.  Accept it and move on.

Hitech said the bases changing ownership when the war is won is a hold-over from the old way things used to be and he hopes to have that changed soon (next release maybe?).

Change to enemy has been fixed for next release, now it just counts down to reset. Everything else will remain as is.

Hi.

I'm back.

What's wrong with making the game more realistic? That's what we're going for, right?

One death and it's game over, literally. Someone from the Consortium of, how many is it?, comes to your house and "Office Space"es your computer.

I also hear post count is somehow important.

No, no they meant "selective and self-serving realism" not "real realism". See, it's all that ker-rapping on other's constructive threads that gets you thinking like a logical per... er, hateful mother.

Thank you HiTech.

Wish granted.

now i'm really lost...must need a drink worse than i thought...

Late war arena changed at least 4 times today meaning long missions are now a thing of the past.

Realism is suffering because we are forced to short term strategy/tactics.

Wish granted.

I believe hitech means that once the war is one, the fields won't do that whole shift countries thing where they all change ownership.
