Then we have to endure twice as many brags disguised as <S> "callsign" events flooding the buffer because the system no longer displays the player's accomplishment.

Sir, do you know what would be te result? Pick n run only to get those kills somehow and avoid every interaction with the enemy when he has only a minimal chance to shoot back, even worse than it goes nowadays. If remove, remove it all.

I know some people that strive by upping from capped fields, trying impossible reversals, get picked by lack of SA, try again 10 times, then have to justify it on 200 and the boards that is the other players are playing the game "wrong", and try to modify the rules to fit their agenda. But I didn't cite any name.

I'd like to see messages removed, I think the "quality of play" could only improve

I feel It's very good motivation for me!

I've only been playing the game for about 8 weeks and I like to have my name in lights. If it got taken away now, I'd want at least $2 a month back of my money. Perhaps more.

Couldn't it be that increasing the requirement from 2 to 5 kills would just increase the perceived "timidness"? And further, wouldn't the impact be less on those few players whose names seem to implied in this thread, as opposed to the average Joe who is glad of getting his two kills in the lights once every blue moon?

  I think I agree with you Lusche,so I say why not make it so if you score a single kill you get your name in lights!

  This would basiically render the whole thing as meaningless and quite possibly have the effect that Juggler and others are seeking.
