my wish:

when you click on "Load Supplies", there should be a delay while your vehicle is repaired and rearmed, in the same way as rearming a plane on the rearm pad. it shouldnt be instant, 20s maybe?

why?

I have no problem with the idea of repairing GVs with supplies, but the instant repair is very gamey.

an example from yesterday - I drive to an enemy base in a Firefly, spot a tiger moving the opposite way off my 2 oclock at 1000yd. he must have spotted me at the same time as we both slew round to stop facing each other at 800yd. I juuuust manage to get my first round off as his turret lines up on me and hit the mantle disabling his turret before he can fire. yay! now I just have to wait a second for my loader to chamber another AP round and I can finish him off.

however there must be GV supps lying around because before I've even chambered my second round, hes hit the supply button and let off a round which kills me instantly.

the instant nature of the gv supp makes it more like a platform game powerup than the device to enhance gameplay it should be.

+1  :aok   Excellent wish. Very useful, easy to implement

Like i said earlier lot of the guys agreeing on this are mostly campers.  and you dont really need  a little "extra" help to get more kills.   there's already a delay between clicking supplies, jumping out of gunner and back in.

and dont even compare it to rearm pad, it's not the same thing.  you guys wouldn't rearm at all if you knew there was cons vulching the base. and even if there were none you can always end your flight safely if there's any threat.  where as the gv, cant unless sitting on its own base.

Tankers fix their own tanks, even under fire, if they can.
Tanks have tools strapped to them for a reason.

Fixing a plane is beneath the dignity of a pilot.

The really great pilots don't even use a plane.

campers? Where did that come from? It works both ways. You could spawn and kill a camping Tiger only to have him click on supplies and kill you.
The delay you speak of is very small. (2 seconds?). Could a turret be repaired between re-loads? doubt it.

i can bail out deep in enemy territory and be up in the air in less than 2 seconds (i can type 80 wpm, no it's not practice from pron) how is that fast for you.

as much frustrating as it is to hit a tank only to resupply before your next shot.  it will give the  camping players even more advantage.  campers already have the luxury of the first shot, how much more advantage do you really want.

Funny how guncrasher goes straight to the campers comments. Has nothing to do with it. More times than not the spawners get the first shot because they have a built-in delay after they spawn where they don't render on other peoples' screens. That's how they can turn a turret around and "appear" to already have their turrets pointing at you.

No, it's a matter of double standards. I'm all for GV supplies as a gameplay addition, with the acceptance that it's not realistic but it's a gameplay feature. That said, I agree with this "make them wait" issue. After all, like you said, they can just tower and be back up in 2 seconds, right?

Right?

I can't understand why you are trying this into a "camper" thing. Supplies have the same effect on all players. Not only camped guys do use them. In fact the player with the highest chance of having supplies at hand is the one defending his home base...

well the camper thing came from watching some of you guys land quite a few kills in the last few days.  like I said, some of you guys really love camping, not all of you, but some of you guys going for it do.  like i said i really hate to see a con pick up the supply and kill me after i damaged it, then again, i am not that good at camping, I know some of you are.  :bolt:
