The head is often removed when colliding in the canopy area thusly you've missed the "spider webs".

  I'm talking about the collisions where we're the fortunate ones who can still fly a little.  Might be missing some wing
or something like that, but some broken window would just look pretty neat...

The canopies are not made of glass and would not shatter like glass.

I've notice that bullets seem to have an impact on the shape of the canopy windshield.
Just seeems like ramming it into another plane might crack it a little bit.

somethime when i get shot its like a bullet hits at a shallow angle or something and a spiderweb crack appears their

How about we have an option to wipe the blood off the canopy after getting PW'd.  Then we could have realistic streaking since windex hadn't been invented yet.

How about a little door opens from the monitor and gives you a Mike Tyson to the temple too. For a grander, bloodier effect, he can even bite your ear.

Don't the Blood Pigs already come with those to keep the windscreen clear of the blood spraying from your targets?

id like to be able to open the canopy. just my 2 cents
