Yawn.... :ahand  Spies is the answer, but nobody cares enough. How many threads have we seen on this?  :airplane:

Reread the thread, or rather, read it.

Never heard any complaints when other countrys CV's were tucked away up there including Bishops. :rofl

I wouldn't say we're not complaining, but the real point is that there seems to be a new bug to the old strategy.

Not a new bug just new people finding out about it. :headscratch:? Hhhmmm How did you find out about the CV tucked up there again?

That corner is an odd ball...I wanted to do some cv ops with my squad last night but.....I found this CV up in that corner....not only does it sit on the edge of the map...but it can be made to run in through the hills and is untouchable...this was going on last night...anyway I tried to get control of this and our other 2 cv's to carry out what I had planned for squad night...but I could only move 1 cv and then some one would change it after...this sux cause I had to change squad ops for the night due to my rank being too high...looks like I will have to go back to using all game modes to get my rank down....Should I have complained...maybe.....but I really couldn't be bothered with the sad arses who were doing it (worst part was that one of then went Afk for quite some time...did I film it...sure did...thought it might make it to the forums and would state my piece here.

There should be supply ships heading to the CV at constant intervals, if you're actively searching it will show you where a CV is hidden, in addition to further adding to the strategic gameplay.

Although I'm the Admiral that put the pictured boat there, I also spent 3 hours last night with a group of dedicated Bishops hunting down and sinking a carrier that was "stolen" from one of our ports and driven 8 sectors away from our nearest airfield.

I don't like hiding boats and I don't like spending this much time finding and killing them either.  I propose we try to be gentlemen and not spoil the fleets.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I totally agree with you rob, i used to hide the cv's last year.  now I am the one who kicks others out and moves it into harms way. I get yelled at sometimes, but when i explain why, they usually just agree and up to defend it.

I think we should draw a line between keeping a boat in reserve should the line get pushed back, and outright joyriding the thing to the other side of the world.

As far as Im concerned, unless a CV was kept in reserve for a major battle/attack (WW2), they were always used to carry out OFFENSIVE Operations re is no reason to hide CVs. Case in point...other night I switched from Nit to Bish cuz no squaddies were on and to fly with some of my Bish friends...they had 2 CVs SOOOOOOOOO far up the NE side of the map that when the Nits were attacking the Port in questions, after the 2 of us that were there defending were knocked out of action in GVs/Manned guns, the nearest AF was 3 sectors away and even rushng the closest CV t the port was 3 sectors away. Therefore the base was lost without even a stout defense put up. The 2 of us that said screw it and upped from said CV to try and get there also gave the NME a direction to where to look for CV and it was promptly sunk because not a single other person hopped in guns or anything. So, long story short...your gonna lose the CV either way so why not Keep it where it can be used to stem the tide of an attack and at least give yourself a chance at keeping the port where if the CV is sunk, youll get it back in 15 min. And i guess in the game it would be used as a defensive weapon for only Port defense...

The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

Old bug I agree, but I thought HTC did something almost a year ago to resolve this ghost/uunsinkable CV in the corners issue (my mistake?), thus making it an old bug fix that is bugged......   :P

Eigh, the line here I'm argueing is you can hide them in the furthest possible corner if you want, but the line I see is that it's an exploitable bug in the game/map and pushes it over the line when you can hide it and make it unsinkable.
