Well......Airventure is alot of fun. I'm kinda jealous you got to go, atleast you got to see some cool stuff out there.

As for me..... I've been doing some flying and finally got a jerb in early july (Out at the airport, imagine that?) They told me if I was gonna be out there all the time they might as well put me to work. I've had a pretty good summer, my only complaint is the heat......but.......thats Texas for you.

80+ hour weeks.

No time to watch my kids play sports.

No time to fish.

No time to do anything but work, eat and sleep.

Actually, it was a pretty awesome summer considering that I'm looking forward to the same routine for the next few years.

Enjoy your youth.

EDIT: And of course, no time for AH.  :furious

I had to request the weekend off a month in advance because a friend of ours is getting married and the big "pre-wedding" bash is tomorrow.

Wedding is on the 20th.

Won't see another day off until Thanksgiving.

But, I must say that after the 2 years laid off, I'm loving life at the moment.

In those 2 years I was introduced to my favorite game.

EDIT: Went back to school and schooled dweebs in my 109F-4. (Got schooled plenty too.)  :rock

Is the dog on your avatar named Lucky by chance?   :rofl
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I had five separate Hospitalizations. One of which they kept the crash cart right outside my ICU room and I had a priest give me last rights.

But God decided to give me another chance. Nobody should go a day without telling the people they love, "I Love you". And never fail to teach kids how precious life is.

But all in all its a summer I'd much rather forget.

Summer? it's great if your still a kid, for Adults it's just the warm part of the year, we try to enjoy the weekends for those that have them off.
