should have kept the Honda badges, I'd rather be in the drivers seat of a Honda than a Merc. Mercs do make good taxis though :aok

No.... strobes are a cinch unless your lights are the sealed variety. Still not too  hard just requires some time in the oven.

No strobes but this is my daughter's car right after lighting installation at AAC in New Orleans.......

I remember you posting pics of her car previously.

Lucky! Favorite car in my favorite color combination.

For the record - if she EVER wants to get rid of that car (And I mean like even 20 years from now lol :lol :lol :lol ) let me know.

While it's not what floats my boat I'll admit it's pretty interesting, MarineUS.

Some nice rigs on here for sure. Bit biased towards the Jeeps though.....
Widewing, VonMessa, ever in NH in spring/summer/fall, drop me a line. I know some roads......
This is mine, 2000Sahara with a few add-ons for functionality.

No question there. We run with anyone and anything, all about the fun. And it is true, most anything can be built to hang with a Jeep.

C6's and some private land. No off road parks here, just use the "ancient roads".

First off - It's an Acura (Yes I know, same thing - just being picky :neener: )

Well, first, I definitely wasn't trying to be a "hater" I just didn't understand the motivation. I recognized the D16A1 because it's the same engine that was in my Integra race car, but for all I knew that car could have started as a 4-door civic, hard to tell.

Quote
Because buying a merc would have actually cost a LOT more and wouldn't have landed that car in Street Customs magazine. It would have just been a yellow Mercedes.

I think you'be be surprised how inexpensive used German stuff is... I paid $5800 for my BMW, and looked at C-class Mercs for about the same amount. But if being "different" was the point......

The goal was to do something no one else had ever done, or even began to think of. Being different was the goal, and it was accomplished on a much larger scale than what I thought was possible.

I can respect that, wanting to be different. I don't get the import/sport compact scene, and sometimes just roll my eyes at the ricer crap that it produces, but that's just my tastes. To each his own, I say. I've always been a racer.... car shows are for old people where I come from.  :P

My race cars, whether they were Hondas, Acuras, or the Corvettes, only needed to look really good from 50 feet away, while they were doing 120 down the front straight.  :D

ROFL.
If yer lucky, you may grow old and get to see some of the toys you play with now there.
It blows me away how much the rides I useda play/race/tinker with in are worth these days.
Even a beater 383 '69 Road Runner -shakes head- .. man I sold mine with a 426 wedge motor sportin two carter AFB's, 11:1 compression, 4.30 gears etc for 900 bucks.
(Because I got my '64 Malibu up an runnin with it's 427 L-88 ..tunnel-ram, 13:1 compression, etc. Orders of magnitude faster)

I get a real kick outta car shows that have somethin I useda run around in at.
