Ok Shuffler, thanks . Where do I pick up one of those Clay bar's at ? most every body carry them ?
Most all auto supplies carry a box kit. In the kit it generally has 2 clay bars and a bottle of detailer. You simply flatten one of the clay bars and spray a little detailer on a area of the vehicle and run the clay bar over it. There is no need to press down or work hard at all. Rub back and forth or in a circle. Very easy to do. Afterwards buff with a soft towel.
This also takes those nasty swirl marks left by drying a still dirty car. It also removes road grit embedded in your clear coat.
If you drop the clay bar on the ground... DO NOT USE IT ANYMORE. Throw it away. If any foreign matter is embedded it will ruin your finish.
You can reuse clay bar by keeping it in a zip lock baggy.
