I can see the pilot stats for the plane, but how do you get it to sort itself not by player name but by number killed in?

If you exert yourself for the rest of the year, you might even be able to get the top spot in the D3A for 2011.   :joystick:  :D

Lusche, who is leading in B-29 kills(in) for the year?

That may be tophat23. You had been #14 (current tour not included yet).

But the numbers are preliminary and not verified yet.

Reads almost as if  one kill per (fighter) sortie is being considered as "average" or nothing special. Actually K/S of 1 or higher is way above the average pilot. Even when you remove the two weekers from the equation. ;)

And on topic, I will probably present the top scoring pilots for each plane for 2011 in my stats thread in early 2012.

there is no average when it comes down tot he page.  as for every one that gets a kill somebody else dies.  so it's always gonna be 1v1.

Not if it shows just the K/D of each player in the fighter category. Not every kill by a fighter is of another fighter (it may be bombers or GV'S). But every death in a fighter counts towards your fighter score so it won't be exactly 1 to 1 unless you only kill fighter when in fighter mode and the people you kill are also in fighter mode.

I think you are on the wrong track.
Yes, for each kill there is one death, but that has only remotely to do with the individual player's kill/sortie in fighter mode. And even for the arena as a whole this average will be different over times (We had average k/s based on all arena sorties varying between 0.49 and 0.58 over the years).

A pilot with an average k/s of 1.0  (and that's what we were talking about) would have been better than 86% of all players in tour 140. Even if  you would ignore all 2 weekers, you still end up with having a better K/S  than 80% of the AH pilots.
So a consistent K/S of 1.0 is actually pretty good.
