I was on then as well, all those people working together to explode the text buffer of everyone in game because they don't like one person, zero manners. What none of these people get is if they'd send PM's to him instead they can still get their kicks and leave everyone else out of it... oh, but that's what Dallas does and nobody wants to do what he does.

But HTC has given us the option to turn off the All channel now, which is what those are sent on. If I miss someone sending me a .salute in the future so be it I guess, blame the children giggling about how they think they're picking on one guy when in fact he gets more kicks out of that crap than they do.

The irony is that they text buffer flooders were making fun of excessive saluting.

Combo breaker?

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Right click on the chat tab and select "Edit" and then uncheck system messages and you won't receive any system messages including <Salute>.

I actually believe it is quite fitting. Its just like all the suicide Oompah Loompahs turning up at a base. Most of the names I see doing it have been around for a while and I understand what they are trying to say. Live with it.

I'm sure if vDALLAS didn't send harassing PMs each time he died this wouldn't have happened.  Sometimes people reap what they sow.
