I think someone has been watching TV.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

What if it required 150 perks in all 3 catagories, then zeroed them all after spawning the ride of choice?

Why? A single hit didn't always sink a carrier in real life - and isn't that what you're looking for..."because it happened in real life it should happen here too"?

By the way the Luftwaffe group you eluded to weren't kamakazi pilots, they would use their fighters as flying ams and attempt to use the prop as a giant saw blade to take off crutial flying surfaces of american bombers. Because of the lack of trained pilots, this act was not considered a suicide attack, although it was often deadly to the bomber and fighter; the pilot would simply bail out after ramming from the rear or sides of the bomber, to hit the flying surfaces of the bomber and minimize the impact loading on the fighter pilot. Since he was already over german territory, he could get a ride back to base and do it again.

Make sure you know and convey exactly what your talking about to avoid the poster's ack.

Add a third category to all planes "Kamikaze" count all the explosives that the plane is carrying in bombs, and then add 1 pound of explosives for each pound of gas the plane is carrying. Zero all the perks. You can only do it once a month.

this is probably because you don't have any perk points to lose.. like imadot suggested, how about if it COST 150 perks from each category?

Also if you get shot down before you get to the target, too bad so sad. Unless you make it back to concrete you lose all your perks.

I think it would be very poor taste to add any "suicide weapons" to this game.

They were desperate measures, used by desperate peoples, during a desperate time.

IMHO they do not need any glorification nor acceptance in the fantasy world or in real life.

"Kamikaze is a surprise attack, according to our ancient war tactics. Surprise attacks will be successful the first time, maybe two or three times. But what fool would continue the same attacks for ten months? Emperor Hirohito must have realized it. He should have said 'Stop.'

"As for kamikaze attacks, those who ordered and encouraged them, those in commanding positions, lied. Every pilot volunteered for a kamikaze unit? 'I go! I go! I go!' -- did everyone say that? That's a lie!

"Even now, many faces of my students come up when I close my eyes. So many students are gone. Why did headquarters continue such silly attacks for ten months! Fools! Genda, [Minoru Genda, the Navy strategist] who went to America -- all those men lied that all men volunteered for kamikaze units. They lied.

"That's why Americans think we are strange. Where are the people who will volunteer to die? No one wants to die. But if a pilot was ordered, we were all military men. We would go. I went, too.* The Japanese Army lost 2,500 men. The Japanese Navy lost 2,500 men. They all died, while being disappointed."

"But let me tell you, all that stuff you read about "dying for the emperor ... Banzai!" that's all crap. There wasn't one kamikaze pilot or soldier out there who was thinking anything about the emperor when they were facing death. They were thinking about their mother and their family, just like anybody else. The reason those final letters home that they wrote are so filled with emperor glorification stuff is because they knew the censors would read them, and because they simply wanted to try to make their parents proud."

you already have lancstukas and people auguring after taking out a tagret as mentioned before this is just a way to try and give those that do that an out. Yes, kamikaze's happened no I dont think it should be added as it would completely get out of hand as you dont really die.Think of all those that will start asking to be able to up a 190 and ram a 17 if this gets added.
