We'd have to buy that for Hitech before it would work with Aces High.   :lol

Perv why you tease me with such beauty. In fact a replica simpit is started. I am still tossing up the idea of doing the Lancaster for my pit. I will start a post once all the parts are in my livingroom.

I always wondered if building a proper simpit would be possible. by that I mean having a fixed view of 360deg FOV and projecting it onto the inside of a sphere surrounding the simpit (assuming you could find a high res projector) :headscratch:

seems strange to be in a realistic simpit where you look out the front screen and see the view behing you ...

Find a local university, get employed as a domestic engineer in the Astronomy department, then 'borrow' the planetarium during off-hours.   :devil

I think I would just have headaches everytime I got into that thing.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

What would it take to have this thought brought too practical?

Having a "non" moveable portion of the screen for user placement. Basicly the gauges on a 4 monitor screen setup. The standard three for view and a fourth center low  that would not move with the other three used for view. Also using a touch screen computer monitor for changing the things on the screen to some degree.

yeah cause the military came out with glass cockpits in the what 1990's yeah lets put them in a game about the 1940's

in about 10 years that could be possible.  or you can just get them headsets that have screens and you can look in any direction.

I'll bet you could mount a projector to the back of your seat pointing strait up with a mirror assembly over your head slaved to a trackIR set-up to have the mirror reflect the projection to which ever way you are looking to get the views to show in the right areas in side a globe like that.
