Stating such does not make it true.

Sorry, but I like to be able to chat across sides.  I don't give a damn about who wins the "war" though.  You're asking to get rid of something I factually like for hypothetical reasons, reasons you yourself in this very thread acknowledge are easy to bypass.  So, I lose something I like and you gain nothing.

Sorry, that is a bad deal.

Also, 200 is an unacceptable alternative.  I am not politically loony and I do not wish to spend my night looking at morons spewing about how Obama is an evil, Kenyan communist, atheist Muslim bent on destroying the United States from somebody with an apparent 3rd grade reading comprehension level.

Note that due to the above type behavior many people, like the guy you just had a great fight with and want to chat about it with him, are not tuned to 200, rendering it even more useless.

It's always the paranoid hordlings that whine about cross country chats, i'd like to see the numbers on how many people were busted for spying/switching to sink cv's or control them.

Wrong all seeing 1.... I gain  comfort in knowing that you will have to PM some 1 else on the phone and that the game dose not make it easy for you or any one else ..with a simple PM to ruin some guy/s or a group of guys night because you have a different agenda.

IMHO the bad out weighs the good and it shouldn't be allowed period.

I acknowledge that they will have to try some thing else besides having it handed it to them buy the game. That it would make it more difficult to talk to some one on the other side ....yes.

It makes no sense for the game griffers to have this access.

What is a game Griffer? Is it someone, or a group that intercepts an incoming attack to defend the target?

I know how long it takes to climb to 10k, 15k, or 20k in buffs. I know how long it take to build to top speed. I know how long it takes to cover the 25 miles of a sector. It's pretty easy to watch a dar bar and figure out where and when a raid will hit. There is no need to stop cross country communication.

I guess you will just have to send him a hearty  :salute then to bad!

You remind me of the guy who drives 65 in the fast lane an holds up the whole freeway while saying I"M doing the speed limit so what if this is called the passing lane.

The guys who are going to grief you are in squads and have vent or teamspeak servers already.  Your fix does nothing to stop the behavior you are hyperventilating about.  All the change would do is stop people like me who use it as a way to chat about a good fight from being able to do so.  Ok, it would also stop much of the PM abuse from sore losers.

How so?  You're the one trying to do the monitoring and censoring.

Actually I'm make a reason not to have monitoring or censoring ... by not allowing the bad behavior to take place.

No, you are not allowing the good behavior. The 'bad' will still happen, as explained several times now.  ;)

Blocking all communication is defacto censoring.
