HOTAS Throttles?

I'm trying to find the perfect throttle for myself, so I was hoping you guys could list some throttle systems that I might not have heard about. Just throw them out there, with pictures too if you can.

anybody that is a ch fan that would love to buy my pos ch fighterstick for 70 bucks.  it's got a lifetime warranty.  it keeps losing calibration and making me dive to the right.

If you're handy you could fab one yourself. At its essence you just need a lever which moves a potentiometer. The USB controller you can buy off the shelf.

I'm trying to find the perfect throttle

I have an older version of the T-Flight Hotas which Rob52240 sent a picture of. As the pictures show, the parts are detachable, so you can use whichever stick you like with the T-flight throttle and place the T-flight stick out of sight within a 3 ft range. I'm planning to tear the stick part apart and try to fit its circuitry and buttons into the throttle base, but I've been hesitant because the whole thing is fully working.

IIRC Shida's #13 is highly accurate, but most of us can do with about three throttle positions: Full, Fuel save and Min and of course, WEP as an extra button.

What attributes are you looking for, something unusual?

Something like the F-16 throttle. I'd get a Cougar but the competition on ebay is too fierce.

The Warthog throttle is just too big with the buttons too spread out (and it's too expensive). Right now I'm using the CH throttle. It is extremely comfortable, and the button layout is perfect, but it feels like it only has 2/3 the range of the x52 throttle, and it doesn't have rotaries that I can use for RPM. When flying planes like A2A's P-51 in FSX, that becomes a problem.

So probably the ideal thing would be a CH throttle with a couple of wheel axis added on either side of the three buttons and about a third more throw for the main axis.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I would be capable of building that even if I had the parts, so yeah, asking too much I guess. Oh well, I think big.

  What u want then is a modded Pro Throttle called the "Franken-Potato". Not %100 sure the gent  who did them is still making them, however. At work at the moment, so I can't look the link up. I can get you the info in the am if you desire
