It's too bad, because it is very fun and interesting to discuss politics.

I find political discussions quite entertaining.  I find bumper sticker sized slogans and and disinformation gleaned from the latest outrage pandering chain email they got uninteresting in the extreme.

Don’t confuse educated and intelligent and treat them with the same reverence.
Educated just means you stayed in a role long enough to pass a series of tests. That’s perseverance. Intelligent is a product of your DNA milkshake. That’s fate.
But wise, that’s the one. The wise one sees through it all – use wise.

Good point.  Knowledge is one thing.  The ability to use that knowledge is another.  The act of applying that knowledge in a practical standpoint is yet another thing.  Also, no matter how much a person learns there is one thing that can not be taught.  Anyone guess what it is???

The discussions that happen in the game are far more interesting and entertaining than ones available in most other places.  AH has a good mix of people with ideas from all different perspectives.

My best friend and I used to argue politics, each taking turns at each side even though we had similar views.  That was entertaining discussion/debate.

My older brother and I can't even discuss politics without it ending up very bad.  We have, in the past, been diametrically opposed.

These days my views on the subject are my views and I keep them to myself.  I wish others would do the same.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
