I think especially encouraging EW/MW plane utilization will help this by default.

I agree with the video. I think that the achievements aren't what would keep players here, that is what the game itself is for. If you're playing a game just to get the achievements solely and not playing it for the content, then something is wrong.

However, if the achievements are implemented correctly (as stated in the video), then they won't damage the game nor limit it.
