I dont get it is 3 lines in text buffer that would otherwise be inane 200 babbling that big of a distraction?


Edit: Then again I guess I dont need to get it. If its possible there should be a way to edit the notifications out of the text buffer. Its actually being asked for alot.

I imagine HTC will add a filter, just like they have for channels, pm's etc, so those hardcore pilots that can't be bothered with achievements won't have to see what they've accomplished.

I wonde rhow many of them will take up the challenge offered by  achievements. Like the one with the landing X amount of kills in the F-8.

Its new and its not an aircraft
Its for kids and its going to bring a bunch of xbox squeeksrs that have  a maturity level higher than most of the   that play. You know because  that's what the kids are after these days, achievements. and any game that adds achievements is going to get mobbed by squeakers.  Hell, you can put achievements into watching paint dry and the xbox squeekers are gonna be all over it. ruining the way we  watch our paint dry.

Alot of GVers were the same when they changed the sights and gave automatic trans. its natural to have a few or alot of people not going to like, or hate the change. I would rather have an open mind and opinion to the change then being a grouch about it.

I think its a good thing that Aces High is changing and adding to it. in my opinion HiTech and the crew can only make this game better and not worse.

im not trying to be a grouch, i just genuinely dont understand it, i dont remember the sight change, but i remember coming back and not necessarily liking the automatic transmission, but to be fair that does change the game to an extent. but the achievements just add another line of text and another menu option on the clipboard, i flew last night and barley noticed when i got an achievement. i guess i just dont understand some peoples need to complain about everything

Nathan60 posted pretty much what I think most of the nay-sayers are thinking. It WILL change how the game is played by many people and seeing as the game is an all interactive setup, how some players play the game effect how others play the game.
