I hate the La7

La7 is the 2nd most lethal prop plane in the MA.. Only the u4 outranks it IMO..

In the reality of MA combat, the Tempest is way ahead of them in terms of lethality by the combination of insane speed and rapid firing Hispanos.

We are not talking about a duel. The term was "lethality". The Tempset can fly at much higher speeds at the common fight altitudes and has much greater firepower, making it incredibly lethal. Going just a few k up, it's faster in MIL than the La- in wep even.
The Tempest is far more able to zip through any battle and blow it's victims out of the sky with a quick burst than both the La-7 and the F4U-4. No doubt, both of them would be better if it komes to a duel-like knife fight... but in the MA you can avoid that pretty much.
If we were looking for the best dogfighter, I would never had mentioned the Tempest, but in terms of true lethality in the MA environment, the Tempy is outclassing it's opposition by a huge margin.

There is a reason it's perked at 50 vs the F4U-4's 20 or the La-7's 0, and also why a Tempest creates more panic on local then any other plane but the 262.

Let me help Kappa out if I may.  Lethality in the hands of a pilot....not lethality in the hands of the general AH public ie....hordling, altfairy, basevulching, picking, you get the idea.  It's also the easiest multi cannon bird to fly fast with which makes it an excellent noob-selection.

Total kills is not necessarily reflecting a individual plane's lethaility. If so, you could think the Me 163 ain't very lethal at all

ah... you mean like using your own flying style to compare the tempest to w/e plane? In fact you just did that.. How YOU fly the tempest.. Myself would not fly it in a manner dependent on its gun package and speed as you put it..

and if you want a competition to prove my point.. I'll bet I can land more kills in a la7 faster than you can in a tempest.. that would be a measure of lethality.. IMO.. as I state above..
