The Do 335 was in serial production by war's end and a small Erprobungskommando was set up. No real operations known but may have been used for some recon flights as it had the speed to do so without danger of a lot enemy interference.

Not really a contribution to the thread but...
(Image removed from quote.)

I had no idea the Do-335 was such a big plane  :O

Two engines AND a MK103. Oh that beautiful MK103.  :rock

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

It must have seen combat (sorry, no F8F or F7F).

This one kills me...while i agree with you 100% Saxman......Given how amazing HTC models their aircraft, id give my left one to take these 2 on a cartoon flight  :aok

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

When the game is over, the Kings and Pawns all go into the same box.

Unless we ever get a WWII 1946 arena (Aces of the Pacific FTW. I STILL curse the day Vivendi bought Sierra. Dynamix was working on AotP2 when they were forced to close shop. I hope Vivendi's execs burn in a very special, and very horrific part of Hell) this should never happen.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I still dont agree with you about it having to see combat. and given that Hitech has said that there is no rule for aircraft addition. They just would prefer it to have been in service, and since there is info on the 162 actually being used i think it qualifies.

Same with the F7F. It was litteraly days from combat, and a squadron was in route to okinawa from iwo jima the day the japanese surrendered.

Plus in the end its HTCs game they can do with it as they see fit. if they want to add the 162 and meteor let them. im not gonna argue or threaten to quit playing just because they added a plane i didnt want. Im content to play the game, and have fun playing with whatever HTC decides to add to the game.

I never complained about the achievements like many people in AH, i never complained about the change to the tanks like many players in AH and i am not gonna complain about HTC adding the 162 or the F7F tigercat, Because in the end its their product that we play.
