I watched the pregame stuff, and paid attention to the ND players' behavior before kickoff. You could tell as they waited for the Bama players to leave the locker room and tunnel and get to the field that they were uncomfortable. Then, when the captains met for the coin toss, I told my fiancee' that the game was over, cause ND was intimidated, and that was before the kickoff.
Once the game started, it was clear, at least to me, that the ND players knew they didn't belong on the same field with Alabama. They weren't ready, mentally or physically, and it only took about three plays to confirm that. From that point on, I channel surfed and didn't watch the game because the outcome was already decided.
It reminded me of a few years back with Ohio State went into the game as #1, and got destroyed by Florida. That #1 ranking didn't mean squat when it came time to play the game. Same ole same ole nonsense BCS ranking system at play once again.
