Honestly didn't even know that you could 'land' away from a town or field. 

If you want to be sure that you 'land' your kills, go to a field or town, and park it on the path.

A whine has been recorded.

If you want to land your kills. the only sure way is to take the same amount of trouble driving back to your base as you did driving all the way to the spawn to camp it

Im guessing he spawned in as well and thus had no base to drive to.
