That's called "the newb message"

I did not get message till recently.  Changed sticks and that helped a lot but still get it once in a while.  Was thinking the T16000 ight help with the Hal effect sensors.

I received the message the other day. It was humiliating. :)

I also seem to get it when pull back hard in the WW1 arena and then role fast....either ripping my wings off or crashing....

This reinforces the belief that it is pilot/operator error.  Had you induced DMYCSR before piltoing your aircraft so violently that it snapped-off and lost major structural components, you wouldn't of been able to damage your aircraft via hamfisting the stick due to the signifigantly reducing input that the DMYCSR system impliments.

In other words, DMYCSR did not roll your airplane so fast that it ripped your wings off and thus the resulting crash, it is impossible.

Now, it may be only partialy your fault, being compounded by an improper (rushed or default) joystick settup.  Film would help conclusively determine if it is pilot error, hardware/stick issues, or both.

The error message is usually the result of 1) bad controller calibration in Windows and/or AH 2) stick scale needs adjusting or 3) faulty controllers.  A controller that has been properly calibrated in Windows and AH and is in proper working condition shouldn't give that error message.  I would suggest calibrating the controllers in Windows and then doing the double calibration routine in AH (calibrating axis and controllers).  If you still get that message then try adjusting your stick scale, dampening the controls can help eliminate or at least make spikes less troublesome.  If you're still getting the error message after doing the above, then it would be a good idea to start looking at the hardware side of things, such as making sure the potentiometers are correctly seated or that the contacts are clean.  If it is a hardware issue, most likely it's from a potentiometer going bad.

If what AKAK says here doesn't work for you I'd strongly suggest you stop moving your controls so rapidly. If you do that I guarantee your problem will just disappear. If you had ulterior motives for asking that this be removed or changed I'd say that has little chance of "flying" here. It's just not gonna happen.

Quick familiarity test is to throttle off before taking off and just hamfisting your stick a few times until you trigger it.  Get a feel for what is involved to trigger it so that way you may have a better chance of avoiding triggering it.

You might want to fly in the TA or offline and see exactly what it takes to generate the message by starting with one side to side swipe and working up. Once you have a minimum threshold to set it off you can play with damping adjustments to see if that's a good solution for you. Just be sure to note how the damping affects your fine aim corrections and aircraft response time.

This won't work because you need to be flying at a certain percentage above stall speed ( old wish granted ) in order to trigger the lock.

I got it the other day trying to wave my wings at a green guy climbing past me.

Apparently I have a violent way of saying hello.  :joystick:

Doh!  I remember comming back and that was one of the first things I did.  Guess he'll have to try it airborne or offline then.

Part of the problem is the fact that I use a Logitec Gamepad 310 and if someone jumps me I move the little knob so fast (snap rolling) I generate the error message

Then you will either have to learn NOT to push them so fast, dumb down the controls in the games so that the inputs do NOT push the plane past those limits, or buy a real joystick. Those are your options. Changing the game isn't one because those setting are there for a reason. Pushing past those limits would cause serious problems in a plane and so are not allowed in the game.
