The bad part of the error is when it does happen, it is the worst possible time and it is really irritating to get killed because your controls are locked up.

I still think this problem would lessened by a tie to the auto takeoff option or leave the message in but stop locking up the controls or some combination.

It's not a problem, it's a solution to the problem of unrealistic control inputs causing unrealistic flight performance. That's why we say the best solution is to learn to move your controls slower. I went through the same thing but I eventually adjusted so I don't need damping or deadband to avoid it now. You just need to retrain some bad habits.

OK, to do the same thing how about when you "move your controls too rapidly" your wings just fall off and you plummet to the ground some what like those moves would do to you in a real plane  :D

I've always understood that it was a means to limit warp rolling, etc. that occur due to lag/connection.

Uh, that's how it works in game now.  If you pull to hard the wing fails.  Has nothing to do with limiting rapid control device movement.

I think you've got things a bit confused.

Don't you consider warp rolling to be unrealistic flight performance?

It happened alot when my old stick was going bad. Once in a great while I will get the message but I Blame myself.  :cry
I wish the delay in regaining control would come quicker though and sometimes hitting auto pilot can level you out.
I always wanted to fight an impossible battle against incredible odds.

No since the cartoon plane isn't actually doing what you're seeing it do.

In my 8 years playing AH2....I've had this message appear exactly zero times.

Sounds like a PEBKAC ...or rather a PEBJAC...error.

Try learning some real ACM's rather then stick stirring. I have never had this message pop one once in my 6+ years of playing... sounds like a personal problem
